Emerging Choreographers Project Blackbox

NFB begins the 2025-2026 season with our Emerging Choreographers’ Project Blackbox at the NFB Studios on September 19-20, showcasing the innovative choreography of selected members of the NFB company. This production features an eclectic mix of dance styles set to a diverse range of music genres, accompanied by a visual art exhibition that offers audiences a compelling glimpse into the next generation of artists from the NFB Académie.
The Nutcracker

NFB takes center stage at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center for the 46th annual production of The Nutcracker on Friday and Saturday, November 21 and 22, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 23, at 2:30 p.m. As the only full-length version of this classic holiday fairytale in the area, NFB’s The Nutcracker features a cast of more than 140 performers and live music by the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra led by NFB Music Director and Conductor David Ott.
Alice in Wonderland

March 7-8, 2026
NFB returns to the MKAC on March 7 at 7:30 p.m. and March 8 at 2:30 p.m. to conclude the 2025-2026 season with the company’s premiere of Alice in Wonderland, choreographed by Jill Eathorne Bahr. As an original full-length ballet, the production showcases a compelling fusion of neoclassical dance and surreal storytelling, set to a meticulously crafted musical score, a visually immersive set design and intricately designed costumes.
