Important Information

 

Please read the information about school dress codes. We believe the proper appearance in class is essential for effective dance education. This includes hair and good grooming for all classes. All students must wear cover-ups outside before and after class.

Student Concert

All students must be enrolled in their classes by November 1st in order to participate in the dance concert. No refunds will be given on costumes after that date.

Studios

Street shoes are not allowed in the dance studios. Students must be supervised before and after classes. No running or playing on the steps is allowed. Younger students are asked to wait downstairs for the instructor before classes. Parents may be charged late fee if student is not picked up within 15 minutes of the last evening class.

Make-up classes

Students are welcome to make up any missed classes in a level lower than their current level.

Behavior

Northwest Florida Ballet students are expected to treat their instructors and peers with kindness and respect. NFB reserves the right to dismiss students if necessary.

Costumes

Concert costumes are ordered to size based on student measurements. Families are responsible for any further alterations.

En Pointe Caution

Students are not placed in pointe classes until our instructors are sure their training has progressed to the appropriate level to avoid injury. Young children should never be allowed to have pointe shoes as playthings.
